How we make money
We think you should know how this site pays its way. Here it is in plain words.
Where-to-buy links
When you look for a shop that sells a product, some of the links may be affiliate links. If you buy through one, the shop may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra. We don't have any affiliate arrangements yet, so for now these are plain links to the shop's own search.
Links are labelled
An affiliate link is marked as one. We order the shops by price where we know it, then by shop name. We never order them by what we might earn.
Money does not change a score
Nobody can pay to change a score. Nobody can pay to change which reviews you see, or the order they come in. A shop or brand can't pay to have a review removed or hidden. A review only comes down under our review rules, never because it is negative.
What may come later
We may add other ways to cover our costs, such as paid tools for brands, or a way for brands to reply to reviews. If we do, they will follow the same rule: money never changes a score or a review. We will update this page when that happens.
