Use it anywhere
Look up reviews in a shop, from another app or from your home screen. Pick whatever suits you.
Scan in store
Available now
Open Scan it, point your phone at the barcode, and see the product. Or type the number under the bars.
What it uses: The camera is used only to read the barcode, on your phone. We do not save camera images. The number is then used to look up the product.
Snap a photo
Coming soon
Take a photo of the product when there is no barcode to scan. For now, scan the barcode or search by name.
What it uses: Not live yet. When it is, we will say here what the photo is used for.
Share from any app
Available now
On Android, install the app, then use Share and pick Rate it Straight. On iPhone, add the shortcut from the install guide.
What it uses: Only the title, words and link you share are read. We never open the page you shared.
Install on your phone
Available now
Add Rate it Straight to your home screen from your browser's menu, like any app. It opens full screen and needs no app store.
What it uses: Nothing extra. The app keeps one offline page on your device. It does not save the pages you visit.
Browser extension
Coming soon
Click the button on a product page in your shop and see what people say, with no copying and pasting.
What it uses: Only when you click it, it reads the product name, brand, model or barcode on the page, or the page title, and nothing before that.
WhatsApp Channel
Coming soon
Follow our WhatsApp Channel for the latest from Rate it Straight. It is not open yet.
What it uses: The WhatsApp Channel runs on WhatsApp, which has its own privacy rules. What it shares, and with whom, is set by WhatsApp and can change, so read its channel privacy information before you follow.
